Part-Time Receptionist
Job Title
Part-time Salon Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator (25-30 hours / week)
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Salon Receptionist/Coordinator at The Colour Bar is to manage the schedule for all stylists and support the salon on day to day operations. The receptionist will also ensure that the excellent overall salon experience for the client. This is a part-time position.
Minimum Skills & Abilities
Experience
One year previous experience in similar environment
Team player
Goal Oriented
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written communication and organizational skills
Experience with basic computer software and social media required
Ability to manage time efficiently
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Self-Motivated and ready to go above and beyond
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing stylist schedules by answering telephones, responding to email appointment requests, and confirming appointments.
Greeting clients and escorting to waiting areas and offering refreshments
Maintaining records and receipts including balancing and checking register drawer
Weekly Inventory management including ordering, receiving, and stocking products, as well as general salon supplies
Daily cleaning tasks include but not limited to cleaning back bar area, sweeping and mopping salon, clean front desk, emptying trash bins, washing and folding towels, cutting foil
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Compensation
Compensation is hourly. Details will be discussed during interview of candidate.
