The Colour Bar was co-founded by Lorena and Alfonso Martinez to make a difference in the industry and we will continue to serve our clients and employees with honesty and authenticity. However, they are only a small part of the company. The business is driven by everyone who takes part of it, especially those who take on leadership roles.

Booking

Interested in booking an appointment at The Colour Bar? Here’s what you need to know on how to book, reschedule and cancel your appointments.

New to The Colour Bar? We thank you for giving us the opportunity to take care of your hair. New clients currently have three ways of booking: Phone, email or in person.

The fastest way to book an appointment is by calling us at the location that is convenient for you. We understand that email works best for some clients so we’ve created an appointment request form that can help us book you for the right service. At the time of booking your first service, we will create a customer profile with your name, phone number and email. For your convenience, our booking software will send email/text appointment reminders that can be turned off at any time.

Feel free to check out our stylist profiles and make a stylist request. Please note, that some of our stylists are in high demand and have a 2-6 week wait time.

Booking for a color service? New clients are required to have a color consultation prior to booking the color service. Learn why by reading below.

In order for us to guarantee our services, we must first have a color consultation. Color consultations are set mainly to protect and inform the client on the process necessary to achieve the hair goals as well as the cost.

While we do ask our clients to come into the salon so we can have a face-to-face consult, we are able to make exceptions and accept an online consultation for certain services, including root touchups, and some non-lightening color services. Please note, that the stylist reserves the right to ask for a face-to-face consultation if hair tests are required.

Yay! We’re always happy to see returning clients! If you are a returning client we will already have a customer profile with a history of your services and purchases. If you would like to rebook for the same service with your stylist, give us a call and we got you! Returning clients are also able to book services using the Vagaro website or mobile app.

We understand things come up! You can cancel anytime by phone, email and Vagaro website or mobile app. Since we do block a significant amount of time for your service, we ask that you give us a 48 business hour notice. This will help us with giving the availability to someone else.

Please note that we reserve the right to deny future services to clients who NO-SHOW an appointment.

The fastest way to reschedule an appointment is by calling us. Our receptionist will help you reschedule your appointment to another time that works best for you. Can’t talk over the phone? Shoot us an email with your availability and our front desk staff will take care of you.

If your stylist has no availability, you can choose to be added to the waitlist. If for any reason we get a last minute opening during your availability, we’ll reach out and notify you of the last minute opening!

Here’s a secret: Our most loyal clients pre-book at least 3 future appointments. Some clients understand how difficult it can be to make last minute booking so they choose to book for the entire year! Pre-booking is the best way to guarantee a time for your service. If sometime comes up, clients can always cancel or reschedule.

Your Service

Come in and be ready to get pampered! Here’s what to expect when you come in.

One of our front desk staff will welcome you at the entrance. We will check you in and proceed to offer you a beverage while you wait for your stylist. We currently offer complementary water, coffee, tea, or wine.

Your stylist will welcome you to the station. If you are a returning client, you will have a quick consultation to ensure that you and the stylist are on the same page. The consultation is the perfect time to ask questions, share goals, and concerns. All this information is useful so that our stylists can ensure your service satisfaction.

We ask our clients who are getting a color service to bring an extra shirt. While our stylists do ensure to drape and protect our clients clothes, sometimes things shift and accidents happen.

During your service you will be able to enjoy a complementary beverage, access our WiFi and browse through some magazines. Feel free to bring your own book or computer. Our stylists and front-desk staff will be available to enhance your service experience.

We have to be honest: Many of our clients rave about our scalp massage and how good the Davines products smell! Be ready to get pampered!

Our front desk staff will assist you at check-out. Your stylist will assist you with recommending a future service date to keep your hair on-point and healthy. Due to the demand at our salon, we do recommend all our clients to pre-book at least 3 future services. This will guarantee that we are available at a time that works best for you.

Our promise to our clients is to do our absolute best in providing the best hair service – Every. Single. Time. We are a team based salon (no independent stylists) and we work together to provide you with the best service.

At The Colour Bar, our stylists are trained on a consistent basis in both technical and customer service skill. Even though we wish we could deliver results 100% of the time, we sometimes make mistakes.
