Who am I?
I’ve always loved everything about hair, becoming a stylist goes beyond hair for me. Many of my best days have started with a good hair day. When we look good, we feel good. When we feel good, we do good. If a good hair day is a jump start to uplifting someone, then count me in!
Growing up, I was the person who volunteered to style friends’ hair for prom, a night out, or as a wedding guest. After graduating college with a degree in Media Arts (Chico State, go Wildcats!), I began working for a local radio group in Chico, then moved to Sacramento to work for CBS, and then Audacy. I spent 12 years in marketing and sales for broadcast companies and loved developing client relationships and launching campaigns.
Hair has always been an interest and a passion, so after a lot of soul searching, I knew owed it to myself to explore the possibility of becoming a hair stylist. I enrolled in the part time program at Federico Beauty Institute so I could attend cosmetology school on nights and weekends. Within weeks, I knew this was for me.
I’m so excited to be a part of The Colour Bar Team and provide the best hair experience to our the guests!
