If you’ve been using Davines for years, this update matters to you.

On May 1, 2026, Davines is launching a new Essentials update. This is the biggest refresh of the Davines Essential Haircare line in years. There’s new packaging. New fragrances. New products. And yes — a few of your favorites are going away.

We know change can be stressful when you’ve finally found a routine that works. That’s why we put together this simple guide. By the end, you’ll know:

  • Which products are being discontinued
  • Which new products are replacing them
  • How to update your routine without missing a beat

Let’s get into it.

Davines Essentials 2.0 product line update

What Is Davines the Essentials Update?

The Essential collection covers nine product families — each one made for a different hair need.

What’s changing in this update:

  • New packaging across every product
  • Fine-tuned fragrances for many products
  • 9 new products added to the line
  • 7 products discontinued
  • Two product lines (Volu and Nounou) are getting additions with no discontinuations

Most products use Davines’ signature Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) ingredients. These ingredients are grown using farming practices that help restore the soil and support local communities. Davines is also still a Certified B Corporation, so the brand’s social and environmental commitment hasn’t changed.
