A Self Care Themed Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for February 2024

I fully believe that you cannot pour from an empty cup. This holiday season I am making a point to encourage everyone to pour into themselves a little bit more than normal. Take the time to take care of you, and you’ll be able to love the ones around you even more. Here are a few of my favorite self care items complied into our 2024 Valentine’s Day Gift guide.

1. Personalized Shampoo + Conditioner

Taking the time to use a product that you know is high quality and exactly what your hair needs is one of my favorite forms of self care!

2. Sleep Headphones

Another one of my favorite forms of self care is taking the time to get quiet with myself. Life can be so go go go most of the time that I have found if I don’t actively choose to shut off the exterior noise, I won’t ever actually be able to listen to myself. I have found listening to guided meditations before bed gives me a realistic time of day for me to do just that.

These sleep headphones would come in handy on the nights that I know I am probably going to fall asleep and I don’t have to worry about disturbing my husband or losing my AirPods. I don’t own these headphones but they definitely have been forwarded as a gift idea!

3. Customized Hair + Scalp Masks

When The Circle Chronicles first launched, they were inspired by the skin care world’s trend of “multi-masking”. Multi-masking is when you use a specific mask for certain areas of your skin or hair, and use another one for different zones, all at the same time to address the unique needs of each area. This Valentine’s Day treat yourself to some of my all time favorite hair and scalp masks!

My personal favorites are The Renaissance Circle, labeled for “hopeless hair”, which strengthens and hydrates your hair after we’ve been a little too rough on it, and The Wake Up Circle, which is marketed as the hair mask for your hangover days meaning for when your hair and scalp are just feeling blah. After using The Wake Up Circle, your hair feels bouncy and alive again with your scalp feeling squeaky clean as well.

As a close runner up, I also have a sweet spot for The Restless Circle. The best part about this mask is that you can apply to your dry hair before wash day and let it sit. You can wear your hair up in a slicked back look while getting your errands done and treating yourself to a hair mask!

4. A New Water Cup

Listen, I know we are all sick of hearing about the Stanley Cup, but I have to admit there is something about a new, cute water cup that gets me excited to get all my water ounces in for the day. Staying hydrated is most definitely a form of self care and nobody can tell me otherwise!

Whether you decide to invest in an actually Stanley, or another brand (hot take: they are basically all the same anyways) making sure your body is getting the hydration it needs to function properly is a wonderful way to pour back into yourself this Valentine’s Day.
