Natural Tech Energizing: 5 Products for Hair Loss

Although hair loss has always been a concern for people, I have had more and more clients come in with concerns about hair loss as of recently. What I have been recommending to my clients is Davines’ Natural Tech Energizing line. The stress of the last few years, and COVID-19 itself, is taking a toll on our hair. Everyone seems to be looking for a solution to the excessive hair loss. Keep reading to learn about this products in depth.

Active Ingredients in the Natural Tech Energizing Line

In Davines Natural Tech line, they have coined the terms “phytoceuticals” and “complexes”. Phytoceuticals are powerful molecules derived from plants that helps to provide defense and antioxidants. Complexes are a blend of plant-based extracts and the latest generation of raw materials that create high-performing active ingredients. They are formulated specifically for each Natural Tech family to address scalp and hair needs.

The Active Ingredients in the Natural Tech Energizing family are:

1. Hair Energy Complex
   This complex, that fights against inflammation and free radicals, is found only in the Energizing family. It supports good scalp balance. The two ingredients that make up the Hair Energy Complex are green tea extract and vitamin B3. The scalp is restored and brought back to it’s optimal state with the vitamin B3 while the green tea extract works on micro-inflammation at the root.
2. Caffeine Phytoceuticals
   This plant-based ingredient is known to stimulate the cellular metabolism and promote tissue oxygenation meaning it helps to provide energy and food to your hair follicles.
3. Microbiotic Booster
   Found in both the Energizing Seasonal Superactive and the Energizing Superactive, this complex maintains the integrity of the scalp’s skin barrier. Through the use of postbiotics, our scalp’s natural protective film is reinforced. This will reduce redness, itching and discomfort of the scalp and help protect against external aggravators.

Natural Tech Energizing Products and How to Use Them

Like the other families, Natural Tech Energizing is meant to be used as a cyclical hair care routine. This means you will follow this routine for the specified amount of time and then take a break using another recommend hair care routine.

• Energizing Shampoo
  This shampoo is formulated for thinning or breakage prone hair. It helps to stimulate circulation in the scalp and increase elasticity in the hair. It contains the Hair Energy Complex and Caffeine Phytoceuticals.
  After completing an intense or maintenance treatment, replace with Renewing Shampoo for at least 2 weeks before starting another treatment cycle.
  How To Use:
  • Intense Treatment: every other day for 1 month
  • Maintenance Treatment: 2 times a week for 2 months
  • Gently massage into scalp on damp hair for a few minutes, rinse thoroughly and follow up with other Energizing treatments.

• Energizing Seasonal Superactive

  This is a regenerating lotion to act against hair loss caused by stress and seasonal factors. Containing the Hair Energy Complex and the Microbiotic Booster, this product is a preventative treatment for people prone to hair loss.
  The way I differentiate between Seasonal Superactive and the regular Superactive is if the hair loss is a permanent problem or more of a seasonal problem.

  How to Use:

  • Intense Treatment: every other day for 1 month
  • Maintenance Treatment: twice a week for 2 months
  • Apply 1 to 1.5 pipettes on the scalp after hair has been shampooed and towel dried. Massage until completely absorbed. Do not rinse.

• Energizing Superactive

  This is a stimulating serum, containing the Hair Energy Complex and Microbiotic Booster, for the scalp that helps to counteract hair loss associated with male and female patterned baldness. It helps to reduce hair loss and excess oils.

  How to Use:

  • Intense Treatment: every other day for 1 month
  • Maintenance Treatment: twice a week for 2 months
  • Apply 1 to 1.5 pipettes on the scalp after hair has been shampooed and towel dried. Massage until completely absorbed. Do not rinse.
  • After completing an intense or maintenance treatment, take a break for about 2 weeks and then restart.

• Energizing Gel

  This is a leave in treatment for fragile scalp and hair prone to falling out. With the Hair Energy Complex and Caffeine Phytoceuticals, it helps to stimulate scalp microcirculation. The gel deeply penetrates the scalp to promote new hair growth.

  How to Use:

  • Preventative/Maintenance Treatment: twice a week for 3 months
  • After shampooing, distribute all over the scalp while massaging gently. Do not rinse.

• Energizing Thickening Tonic

  This Thickening Tonic increases the diameter of the hair strand without weighing it down while also giving the hair shine. Like other products in the Natural Tech Energizing family, this includes the Hair Energy Complex and Caffeine Phytoceuticals.

  How to Use:

  • After shampooing, apply the product to towel-dried scalp and hair. Massage gently and comb through the length of the hair for even distribution. Do not rinse.
  • Use as often as needed as well as after every wash.
